My path to jewelry designing wasn’t linear

My name is Dishi and I founded Ate A Pearl in Sep'24. No fancy art school. No goldsmithing degree. Just a loud love for accessories and a refusal to shrink into ~ Dainty. Quiet. Disposable. Ate A Pearl was born to fill the silence with something louder🔥.

every piece starts as a sketch, or whatever raw form the idea asks for. No two pieces take the same path - some begin on paper, others in conversation. Each design evolves through experimentation until it says something worth wearing — not just something that sits pretty.

We team up with insanely skilled South Asian artisans to bring those ideas to life.

Supporting local makers isn’t just part of what we do — it’s the whole point. By working directly with artisan communities, we help keep traditional craft alive, lift local economies, and remind the world that real art doesn’t roll off an assembly line.

If you haven’t caught the hint

we’re just as obsessed with food as we are with jewelry. Ate A Pearl is our way of making bold moves feel... bite-sized.
